the tattoo and piercing thing got me thinking. alot of the moms on the mothering board have tats and piercings. if they're so natural and so against vax, pesticides, shampoo and cleaning products....how are they okay with injecting INK in their body? it doesnt make sense to me.

I'm sure you could find some naturally derived ink somewhere. There's a market for everything. But even if it's "natural" it can still cause problems, I'm sure. DH has seen some interesting reactions to tattoo ink. (How bad would that suck?)

I just went to peep at this website to see if anything interesting over there and after 15 mins I'm just angry!!!!

I went into the Ireland section after beign disturb by the smiles in peoples signitures on the July 2007 board and some had posted that they read that in ireland obstetrical practices are from the dark ages and that midwifes are used instead of machines for monioring the baby etc and worse than that people replyed and said YES this was the way!!! I'm so angry!! I had such a wonderful birth experience with DS and was made aware of the practices of my hospital (national maternity hospital, dublin). You don't bring a birth plan as they practice active birth management as a rule but if you want an epidural at any point you can have it. I had a midwife assigned to me from the moment I was on delievery and she left when I delivered, yes to monitor the baby so you have the freedom to move around and not have to be hooked up to the monitor. she as so wonderful and let me do my own thing and brought me ice chips all the time and anything i needed i didn't have to buzz for it because she could see to all my needs immediatly.

Sorry to vent here but it just made me mad!! Some of the smilies would actually turn me off breast feeding!
