I have two post graduate degrees and no desire to ever work outside the home. I've definitely gotten the "You just stay at home with your kids?" F what everyone else thinks, you know what works best for your particular family.

Agree. And I think life is fluid. Who's to say the life your living now will always be the same in a year or two? Medspouse plus motherhood has equaled a opened minded and changing career for myself. I can't help but think many moms make a few changes once the family dynamic changes. I think its all going to come together for you.

I just wish women didn't always have to be so horrible to each other! Non-moms vs. moms, working moms vs. non-working moms, moms vs. non-moms, non-moms vs. non-moms. It never ends!

It's not the just the mommy wars, either. I ran into some doozies this weekend. Some chick walked up withing millimeters of my umbrella and then bitched at me because she almost got poked in the eye twice. So step the fuck back, idiot. I didn't move, you did.

People suck.

For all of us SAHM, let's just be grateful that we are lucky enough to do it. It's totally one of the hardest jobs, but for those of us who have the choice to stay home, we are so fortunate.

You know, it's not about what the women think. It's more the men. Law is still very much an old boys club here and I hate to reinforce their stereotypes about women. All those ssholes that looked at my belly when I was interviewing and asked "wouldn't you rather be home with your kids?" I sometimes feel like I let my sisters down. The next time these men interview a young woman will they think "she's going to quit when she gets married /has a baby"?
