Y'all sound freakin adorable . Either they'll come around or they won't, and the ones that won't -- it won't have anything to do with you or her. And it'll be their loss.

You will likely notice that rarely give two shits about what anyone thinks of me. Mainly because they. don't. matter. The people who matter most likely adore and love you; the ones who don't can get bent. Sideways.

DD always puts it best. No one else really knows what goes on in someone else's relationship. It is so easy to say ignore them, who cares. But, it is hurtful and hard to ignore. Who likes to be judged and/or rejected? DH and I have faced some similar issues and while it's hard, having a strong relationship does make it easier because you can turn to each other for support, caring, and acceptance. Maybe, in time, it will all get easier.-Deb
