Met with the pr group today. They want me to try this guy. http://randallkahn.com I honestly have no idea why the board picked me. I honestly think it was to get my connections. (Aka Walmart) but they say it is for my business and financial mind ha

They said the look they want is "walk in and take ur job away". This is all so over whelming Athena is going to use the practice ones to promote my talking engagements.

I truly think I am nuts. Soon someone is going to find out I have no idea about any of this. Haha

I think they want you to look like a bitch in the head shots, at least that's what it sounds like. I think female head shots are incredibly tricky. All of DH's head shots look as if he's either being shipped off to war or convicted.

I don't think you need to look like a bitch, just professional in a business capacity. I liked the work of the first photographer you posted...those didnt scream bitchy to me.

I really like the headshots of the photographer they recommended. They're professional, yet intensely personal. Incredible work. I would probably go with a white studio background since you have blonde hair to tone down/blend it a bit. Try both a black and a white button down shirt. No jewelry that takes the focus away from your face. It's really about your face and expression. I like the photos of the females that had a slight smirk. I felt like they knew something I didn't know.

Talk to the photographer (obviously talented) about what they are looking for, and try several different "looks". Submit them all. Fun project. Share!!!!

What do the other board members' pictures look like? If they're not horrible, maybe show a few to the photographer as well - I'm sure he can help guide you towards looks that will keep with the group!
