Since DH will be working two jobs, 6 days a week, days and nights, I don't think working away from home is really an option for a while. Yet, I think it's time for me to do something with my brain again. 😄 I miss my brain!
I have lots of skills and a currently unused master's degree, but am not convinced I want to use it. (i.e. There's shocking little difference between entitled freshmen/sophomore college students, and toddlers).
Things I don't like:
-hocking a product/sales/MLM
-telemarketing
-product testing
Things that interest me:
-projects (contracted work - I give a bid, you accept, I work without a boss since I am my own boss)
-organizations/non-profits/technical writing
-travel (!!!)
-planning (I really love researching, data collection, planning, and executing the plan)
1) What can I (realistically) do from home? Remember, DS1 will be in primary school next year; however, DS2 is still 18 months and with me 24/7. DH is still talking about #3 as well... So there's that (?)
2) In-home help or babysitters won't be an option until I see whether or not the job is lucrative enough to bring in someone.
3) I'm willing to accept a low paying position if there's some amazing kickback or perk. (e.g. Flying standby/free on an airline with international partners, 20-30% on merchandise from outdoorsy/athletic companies, consideration for publication with a publishing company)
So, what are some options, or am I hopeless? 😄
