I am so sad for everyone involved. Tiger just f***ed up the best thing that money, fame, and fortune can't buy. So sad.

Can't say I'd be on my best behavior either although I'd like to think I'd have a perfectly rational and appropriate response.

This is just too sad. I read they have a two year old and a nine month old. Sounds like maybe the affairs began when she was pregnant? What a jerk.

I read 31 month affair. So....does that mean that as soon as she became a mom in his mind, he found someone to be his "hottie" instead? *sigh* I keep mistyping "ass" instead of "as". Must be subliminal.

What I wonder is- he is one of the most famous, and recognizable people in the world. Did he REALLY think he would get away with it? That no one would know? Especially when he the women he chose were obviously fame seekers ( you have to be if you go on tool academy). Did he honestly think that they wanted to sleep with him bc of his looks or sexual prowress? Puh-lease.

The part that I can't believe is that he got away with it for as long as he did.

Apparently he's admitted to it via his website.

Does anyone read dlisted? It's very raunchy...but honestly...he cracks. me. up. It's offensive...be warned...

(he is appropriate when necessary. And I've never read/seen him attack a celeb kid. Can't say that for other gossip sites)

I think this is all really sad - for his wife, his children, and for him.

He posted a statement on his website admitting his "transgressions": http://web.tigerwoods.com/news/artic...27740572/news/

In seeing the pictures of the crashed car, there really wasn't any need for her to smash out the back window with the golf club to "rescue" him. She could have done it to the front window, or maybe just opened up the door (but I know the ability to do that after the crash could have been limited). I honestly think that they were fighting, she mauled his face, he got in the car to drive away from her, and as he was pulling out the driveway, she was attacking the back end of the car with the golf club. He was concentrating so much on what she was doing to the back of the car that he hit the fire hydrant and the tree. Just my hypothesis.

                  That is EXACTLY my hypothesis.

Again I feel for his wife, what am awful time of the year to have it happen too. When you're supposed to be feeling thankful.

This might seem stupid but my first thought was that he was trying to hit a tree/hydrant to make it look like the accident caused the damage?

Actually, not a bad thought at all. He did get a lot of sympathy initially. Anyone else find it extremely ironic that she either

I'm guessing that is what was handy.

I'm all about the "what a jerk" "why on earth would he think he could get away with it" kind of thing, but I'm also going to agree with Laurie that if Tiger were the one who had scratched up Elin's face and/or hit her car with a golf club, there would be a whole different kind of outrage -- even IF she had been unfaithful.

And geez, what a doofus. Clearly he's got fabulous taste in mistresses if they're sharing voicemails with the media. Quality women there.

I wonder if it was an open marriage? And Elin was furious over it becoming public?
I also hope he was smart enough to use condoms...and that she runs to get some STD testing.

This one is a hard one for me. What a jackass! I am/was a fan of Tiger Woods, but this just makes me so furious. If Elin is a good and faithful wife, I hope she takes him for half of his billion dollar fortune. I used to joke to Chad that Tiger was my boyfriend. I find that kind of money incredibly HOT, what can I say?

I confess this is always my first thought when these things happen with celebrities and politicians. And especially athletes and rock stars.
