    Come again? What's SNTL?

    Really? Will I wear it?

SNTL is the code you put in when ordering from JCrew.com. It should give you 10% off.

Will you wear what? The suit? If that's the only thing you take with you to the conference, you won't have much choice.

Aha! Now I get it with the code!

I wasn't clear. I mean, will I wear it just this one time, or will I get use out of it. I'm comfortable with it, but the stripes are so thick!

Get a thin sweater, a t-shirt and a shirt to match the stripes. That way, you can wear the pants with just the top or pair the jacket with one of the tops and jeans. If you get a sweater in cotton and merino or cashmere, the outfit will easily go from spring/fall to winter. This will also be a good interview suit to fall back on.

I like the tops. I don't look very good in blue though. But I get the picture as far as the styles. Great!

I just went onto Jcrew and see that they don't have my size online. So, I'm going to call them and see if they have anything left. Not hopeful....

Aw crap, they don't have my size...

Say Vishenka, would something like this work?

              With the matching brown slacks?

When does Ann Taylor have their next sale? Their sales are good.

Alison, sorry about JCrew suit. I think you should go for a more fitted shorter jacket. What about this? It's even on sale. I don't see the pants on the web, but they might have them in store. Or you can pair the jacket with brown pants.

In general I feel that AT has a more mature look than JCrew. I would try to find something hipper looking. Now that you know what to look for, you can expand your search to department stores.

Alison, AT just added some new suits to their site. I think this is a good alternative for the JCrew one. It comes in petite too. I also have a coupon for 15% off if you'd like.

                    Hi! Good to be back!
I haven't had the chance to go to AT since the new suits have come out, but I will go again either today or tomorow to have a look. I like your last suggestion, but... 3 buttons? So close together? I'll have to look at it in person.

Some birthday money from my parents has come through, so it will help with my suit hunt. Though I may take you up on that 15% coupon, if I find something at AT. Thank you!
