I've seen them at CostPlus (World Market in the Midwest) or at an Asian grocery store.

Yummy yummy!! Those look really good! I'll have to try those.

My brother is going to Japan and Korea next week; any other Asian goodies (that you can only find there or are cheaper) I should tell him go bring back?

Next time I am at Uwijamaya, I'm looking for the lychee jellies. Is it with snacks or candies? I love lychees. Sometimes I can get them here but I think they are best eaten in tropical areas.

there is a store in SoHo that has a HUGE variety of them. I brought them back for the boys when we went to NYC last year, and they thought I was the coolest mom.

My friend Monica and I nearly made ourselves sick on the white grape ones. The english descriptions on the bags are priceless.

You can bring dry food through security in JFK but not liquids of any kind (aside from ziplock stuff). You can buy whatever in the terminal and bring it on the plane but they'll take it when you get to Heathrow, so better finish everything on the plane. I've never been to Gatwick, but Heathrow is very nice. Huge but nice. 3 hours is just enough to eat breakfast, seriously budget at least 20-30 minutes to walk from/to gate and you'll need to do passport control when you land. Also all airports take $$$, so no need to worry about that, but they will only give change in local currency.

I believe there's a very small Au bon pain in AA terminal in JFK but I might be mixing it up with something else. We usually eat McDonalds as the most edible food around.

I would ask - the gummy candies (the link) are located in the candy area. I always have to ask for the jelly cups, because they're not always located near the candy, but sometimes near the Japanese crackers.

I'm so jealous - I need out of here and back to the coast!

ETA: Get the lychee cups with the little pieces of ACTUAL lychee fruit in it. OMG!!! YUM!
