Heidi, try those petal things, they adhese to the shoe not your foot, so only the cushiony part will be touching your heel.

Question. I have an outfit that I am wearing on Friday night to dinner which is a black pencil skirt, a patterned black and silver and shirt with an empire waist and black closed-toe pumps. These heels are 2.5 inches. I am going to be an Amazon, but in spite of that, I am wearing them. Anyhoo, my options are:

Wear tights
Wear black hose
Wear nude hose
Just go glowing white and with bare legs
Try to use self tanner with bare legs, but still be very white with an orangish hue

Are there rules to this stuff? Help.

Heidi, I had a dream last night that I met you and gave you a hug, and DC Jenn was there and I said, "She is just so hard on herself." Jenn agreed and then we gave you a gift basket. Why a gift basket? Because who doesn't love sample sized gourmet food?!

I think I am hard on myself a lot. I don't know how to change that, but I'd like to.

Go with nude hose if you feel uncomfortable about your white legs. The hose will help with blisters too. My rule is that when in doubt go with nude but only with closed toe.
