[quote=MrsK;452609]The etsy stuff is adorable. So what if he looks like a sissy for a couple years. I really want to get a smocked bubble or something like that for his homecoming and bris.

Oh, oh, oh! I am a girlie girl, grew up with a Mama in the deep south - one of three girls. I was always teased in college as being prissy. Wouldn't you know - I had two boys. Sorority sisters say it serves me right. (I DIGRESS) I SO AGREE on the bubble/jon jons/shortalls - my boys wear them all. My husband lets me indulge b/c he knows they will be in dirt and in ratty clothes in no time - http://www.orientexpressed.com (not sure if they have infant); I love kissykissy which is super soft cotton and simple precious outfits (my coming home outfit for #2 which I got at hugsandhissyfits.com . Also look at jollyrompers.com which has free shipping and does boy layettes. Also, as they got older - baileys boys and kellyskids.com - both have smocked line and just nice and simple - #1 I got a blue and white gingham shortall monogrammed initials that I still love.

One day I'll have a girl. DH is terrified b/c he says he does not want to see how much I'll buy!

Oooh, thank you! I'm loving this for the bris. http://www.jollyrompers.com/closeup....d=835&offset=0

We met an artist that makes "dress paintings" out of special occassion dresses. She actually glues the dress onto a canvas and paints around it. We were thinking of having her make a painting using the take home/bris outfit. Something like this would be really sweet.

        Forgot one!

Feltman Brothers is also a WONDERFUL infant line - pretty popular so can find many stores with this line online. Sorry - LOVE dressing my boys and I was determined to find cute lines!

Carters usually has the cutest boys clothes. I'm all about the preppy and my husband is anti-name brand anything.

Actually, MOST of his stuff came from (comes from) Target because it's one of the few places that have plain stuff- t-shirts without the 'stuff' and jeans that don't look like they're coming from a monster truck rally or a rap video.

Lands End also has really cute boys clothes but they're a little pricey. but- I think I have his eater outfit from his first year with us on my facebook album- if I don't I'll put it up there. He looked like he should have been golfing at the club he was so preppy.
