I *detest* UGGS. With a passion. I don't get the devoted love of them here. Maybe it's a regional thing like my undying affection for Birkenstocks?

I think the classic UGG style is not very attractive...people say they like them because they are comfortable. I would never buy them because if it is a fad, that is my cue not to buy. However, they have regular brown or black leather boots. I have mine on right now because we had an issue with our well pump and I keep going back and forth with the plumbers. They ARE comfortable, keep my feet warm/dry and have great traction (the soles look like little my hiking boots). A friend has a pair of high heeled boots that are very stylish...I was surprised, again, that they were UGGs.Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

Ugg just opened a store in Georgetown. Why? It's not like it's even that cold in DC...
