        I don't know why they are not allowed to accept gift cards. Maybe something to do with their affiliation with the hospital or the church? It's a day care in a Catholic hospital. The directors of the program are nuns though few, if any, of the teachers are nuns. All I know is that the newsletter said that the teachers are not allowed to accept gift cards in any amount. Too bad because I would have gotten them gift cards for groceries or Target or something like that. I am excited about the toys though. I figure that it's a nice farewell gift and having a few new toys will probably make the teachers' jobs a little easier too.
