I am on the lookout for a pair of everyday/casual winter shoes that I can wear with everything from jeans to cargos. I have a pair of brown leather and suede shoes from BOC that love, but I need something to wear with black or dk grey pants. Here are the requirements:
BOC has nothing that I like, it is either clogs (not great snow shoes) or grandma-ish.
I know it will make our resident fashionistas cringe, but I do like the look of keens, but just haven't found a pair that looks great in black...
- slip-on if possible - I am juggling too many things when I walk out the door,
- heel that is 1" or lower,
- A decent amount of support/cushioning - I have craptastic knees and a pair of ballet flats make me ache for days
- I'd like to stay under the $100 mark if possible
- They need to look okay with socks on. Winter in WI necessitates socks, sometimes wool ones.
