Be careful, pinterest can take over your life and make you attempt crazy crafts and recipes!

Ha! I had to laugh out loud at this --- I have two dressers sitting the garage that I purchased at a garage sale after seeing a few things on pinterest about refinishing. Right... it's been like two months and they haven't moved an inch! (I actually physically can't move them on my own - and guess who isn't really around much to help! ) I've been staying a little further away from pinterest projects these days!

        True story.
I have two things I sent myself via e-mail, and will be getting into more in the next few weeks.
        Helllloooooo, puff quilt!

For your DW? I'd say gift certificates for anything "beauty or health" related are usually failproof. Check out Yelp reviews in your area, and see if they are running any Holiday specials. Worth the $$.

A spa day. Or even just a hairdresser appointment. I loved that when I was a working mom with small children. (now I stay home and we have no $$ for things like that)

Just explained to my cousin that my husband is a resident, not a dawkter. And I agree that Etsy and Pinterest are great places to find original ideas!

Also, if you really like The Vintage Pearl Stuff, do check out Etsy, because there is very similar stuff that is a lot cheaper. I love the Vintage Pearl, but IMHO, because they are so popular, they can be a little bit overpriced...and anything custom takes 2-3 weeks to ship...maybe even more now!

I love the initial idea...www.peggyli.com has a few beautiful ones that she custom makes for a good price. Hope that helps!

More of a stocking stuffer for you DW...they are stilll a litttle spendy - for socks but sooo worth it. I got my ped resident friend Smart Wool socks to wear with her clogs. Have awesome support and keep your feet warm in winter and cool in summer. They make clothes too. I love their tshirts/camis. So soft, not scratchy and do the same as the socks. Would be nice to wear under scratchy scrubs.
Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

I flove the Smart Wool socks. Practically live in them during the wintertime, here.

I double the "kindle" or "nook" type recommendation. Let me live vicariously!

I'm intrigued with pintrest and smart wool socks!
do you have to download anything on your computer to go with pintrest? I mostly use my work computer.

Nothing to download to browse. There's a bookmarklet you can add to make pinning easier for you, but it's certainly not a requirement.
