And guess whose DH ordered the new phones at 3 this morning when ordering became available. We'll get them Friday. He also switched us from ATT to Verizon because ATT pretty much sucks with coverage everywhere.

Verizon has great coverage here for when you move back, no pressure though.

We've been happy with Verizon. Well except for the new plans, but they aren't the only ones! I've only tried to talk and use my phone once and realized it wasn't an option, so don't let that stop you.

I use data while I talk all the time. I couldn't give that up!

We both upgraded to the 4S, and were tardy to the party. I kept my unlimited data. DH has 4GIG/Tethering.
We use AT&T because it is stupid fast here, his hospital covers 60% of our plan, and we use data while talking pretty frequently.

For the ability to tether with Verizon, it was an obscene amount of money, no discount, and no data while talking.

We just preordered the new iPhone. We both upgraded to the 64g.

We ordered them this morning. Not at midnight, so we have to wait a bit longer for ours. We both got white.

I still have the 3Gs so I was ready for the 5. However, now I am not so sure. I love that we now have enough chargers that we do not have to share. One is always in the travel bag, in each of the cars and on each bedside table. In addition, we use our little Bose portable speaker all the time. If we switch to the 5, not only will we need to buy several new chargers but will not be able to dock the phone on the speaker...and that thing was a splurge for us.

DH ordered each of us an iPhone 5 on Friday morning. Supposed to arrive next Friday. My phone was a dinosaur when I got it 2 years ago, and it is getting worse. Battery life sucks (already on battery #2), absolutely no memory space, really slow internet, etc. DH's is okay, but since he got the iPad 2, I think he's been secretly wanting an iPhone. He keeps telling me that he is fine with keeping his Droid, but he has been talking about getting us iPhones since we moved.

I heard that Apple is going to make an adapter so that you can use your iPhone 5 with your other gadgets that have the old power plug. I think it costs somewhere in the $30-40 range.

It is coming later this year, or so I was told and the 5 is supposed to have the correct chip for Verizon's network. Hmmm, I will have to make a stop in the store later to get the updated scoop.
