Well that blows. Hmm, I still have to hold out for another 2 months with a phone that is crapping out and I have to reboot multiple times a day because of the contract. But, my actual contract doesn't expire until February or March... So, no changing networks until then either.

DH managed a half day to pick one up in the morning on Friday. I doubt he could have managed a half day when our children were born, but that man will NOT be 2nd to have a new gadget. haha

Speaking of new iPhones, has anybody else upgraded to OS6 and found that they can no longer really view this site in Safari? The formatting of the forums is practically gone, and I can only read page 1 of each thread.

Sorry if somebody else asked that! I can't see anything past page 1.

I have tapatalk on the iPad, and that works fine, but I don't feel like buying it for my phone too.

Mine is upgraded to the OS6 and everything is the same.

I still have the 3Gs so I was ready for the 5. However, now I am not so sure. I love that we now have enough chargers that we do not have to share. One is always in the travel bag, in each of the cars and on each bedside table. In addition, we use our little Bose portable speaker all the time. If we switch to the 5, not only will we need to buy several new chargers but will not be able to dock the phone on the speaker...and that thing was a splurge for us.

There will be a strong market of adapters. Give it a few weeks.

We won't be considering an upgrade from our iPhone 4 until we have one available in the spring. However, I wanted to let you guys know, I had to talk to a few peeps at Verizon, but I was able to retain our unlimited data plan (it's actually an old plan from Alltel before they merged) when we upgraded to our iPhones last year. So I know it's possible, you just have to get the right person. Now I can't switch plans ever and be able to get my grandfathered one back, but I can upgrade phones.

No iPhone 5 for us. We'll probably upgrade to the 4S when we are due for upgrades (I'm due in May and he is in July).

We just updated to the 4s earlier this year-- it's awesome and I'll wait until the contract is up for another upgrade. Prob there will be a 6 or a 5s or something by then. I'm cool with that.

Yay we finally got them!! They r much lighter than the regular 4.

Woot! I had to call Verizon's technical support for an issue with my phone today and the tech confirmed that the iPhone5 is voice and data capable! I am so excited - November 18th cannot come fast enough for me to get rid of my current phone.
