Interview Suit?

Depending on where he is interviewing, and how fit he is, the trend in men's suits is that the jacket is shorter than they used to be, and the pants are slimmer cut.

I cannot imagine this trend will be attractive on DrK. Is it here to stay? Is it still ok to wear the old style suits? I don't want him to look like he's wearing his father's suit but being a large/broad man with thick tree-trunk legs, there is no way he'd be able to wear slimmer cut pants without splitting them and a short jacket just wouldn't look proportional.

You can't do that if you worry that you look like Chris Farley doing his "fat guy in a little coat" impression in Tommy Boy.

This is exactly what I think he'd look like. He can't do Brooks Bros. either. They cut the arm-holes too high for him and he cannot comfortably fit his upper arm in their jackets. (Makes him feel like a freak yet I've seen them fit men who have waists that are wider than they are tall.) We go with special order from Jos.A.Banks.

DH got two suits from Men's Warehouse a couple of years back - the only place we have near us. He has very broad shoulders, 6ft so everything has to be tailored. But he got this black suit with a faint copper pinstripe...the most beautiful suit! A warmer colored shirt brings out the copper and with a cooler color, all you can see is black.
