Oh, when it comes to warranty be wary. We had one for our VW and had to fight the dealership to honor it.

      Good to know.

And wow, I was prepared for an insurance surprise (I'm insuring a 14 year old taurus under my parent's policy) and would be putting this new car as a combo under our home owners policy, but it's only a $25 increase/month. And drops our home owner's policy $100/year. Sold.

We have a car! I got them down from $17880 to $17500. Not that much, but they are doing any needed brake work, replacing 2 tires, and doing a front end alignment as part of the deal. And it was already below the KBB value. We'll go pick it up tomorrow.

        WHEEEE! No more deathtrap!

Love it, N included. The DVD player is addicting though--that could be a battle. Huge improvement over the 2000 Taurus.

It's pretty sweet in person. I vote for "Scarlet" as a name (despite the van not really being that shade).
