Just an FYI- southwest flies direct to KC from a lot of places. (I was going to descend upon Jenn P.)

We just got tickets from SW for KC to LAX for $59 each way. They are usually 180-220 each way. Definitely look out for those specials, they do come around.

I have a very good friend that lives in KC so I would have a place to stay and I could visit her as well! I'm in!

for me as long as I knew the date at least 2 months in advance.. I would need the time off from work, and time to save for the ticket to fly there, etc.
