Thank you all for your thoughts and concern.
I sat down last evening before dh and the dog got home and just had a good cry. Of course, I'm pregnant so that lends itself well to a good cry. But, I just didn't want him to suffer at all. And, I was numbingly horrified that this could have been one of my kids.
I honestly do feel like this dog is with us for a purpose. And, I am so thankful for that. I really feel like if he hadn't been there it would have been a much worse situation....Who uses a machete to cut through red tape
With fingernails that shine like justice
And a voice that is dark like tinted glass

Oh Good., I'm glad he's doing better. I wondered what one did for snakes. Do you have to do your whole property or just those locations?
Man, my possums, skunks and squirrels are enough to do me in. Mountain Lions and snakes...I'd never leave the house!
