I am so sorry about your dog. Please keep us posted. That must be very terrifying for you, imagining it could have been your children.

But, we're all now on the same page thinking it was a snake that just got one fang into him.

" Annie err Jennie get your gun"...it's time to go snake huntin'!

I too would be very concerned about the little ones. I am fearful that a bark scorpion could sting the kids...babies and elderly can die from them! Tara/pollyanna has to worry about rattlers.

I hope he is ok. When I was in high school, our dog was bit by a rattlesnake but it took a while to figure out for the same reason -- only one fang mark. They eventually found the other, realizing it was a really big snake.

Yikes. She pulled through and hope your loyal dog does too!

You need him to make it! Ever since I read your blog about the Mountain Lion, it was obvious that he was destined to be yours.

I keep checking to see if you've posted. I can't imagine what that must have been like-

I mean yeah- it could have been your husband or your kiddos and it's bad enough that it was your four-legged family member.

I'm sending healthy puppy thoughts up the street.
