I too would be very concerned about the little ones. I am fearful that a bark scorpion could sting the kids...babies and elderly can die from them! Tara/pollyanna has to worry about rattlers.

I hope he is ok. When I was in high school, our dog was bit by a rattlesnake but it took a while to figure out for the same reason -- only one fang mark. They eventually found the other, realizing it was a really big snake.
Yikes. She pulled through and hope your loyal dog does too!

I keep checking to see if you've posted. I can't imagine what that must have been like-
I mean yeah- it could have been your husband or your kiddos and it's bad enough that it was your four-legged family member.
I'm sending healthy puppy thoughts up the street.
