Kris, they look great. That's the length of my own nails right now and typing really isn't a problem. Back in NY when I outsources my housework and manis were much cheaper, they used to be longer. Everyone is right, you'll get used to them in a day or so. As long as you do a good job washing your hands, no extra dirt should collect underneath. I think that's a myth women with extremely short nails created.

Back to discussion though - the fake nails creep me out because I have heard too many people that have gotten them caught on something and have gotten them pulled off - ouch!!!

My nails grow pretty quickly and I am always filing them down for the same reason - fear that they will break off and hurt. I know - I am a wuss.
