Our Canon has officially died. I was hoping that a new memory card and a call to a tech center might save it but no luck. I've spent all morning looking through reviews on Amazon and there are just too many options. I need a very basic camera (90% of the time I use the Auto mode) but this time would like something small and slim. Do you have one like that? Do you like it?

Re: Need digital camera suggestions
We just got an Olympus FE 280 for Christmas, and so far, so good. It is little, about the same size as a deck of cards but not as thick. It can take short video clips. The resolution is great. I am a pretty basic photographer, too. HTH!Wife of an OB/Gyn, mom to three boys, middle school choir teacher.
