Re: 4th of July?
Oh, I forgot to add that I have completely blocked the fact that we're going to the Col's house for a picnic. The upside is that the new AF CN will be there w/ his wife and kids (yay- there's 4 of them now!). The downside is that the ranch is way the heck out of town and I HATE driving in Texas on holidays. San Antonio has a humongous problem with drunk drivers.
Hopefully we'll get on the road before it's too late and the idiots are out. Of course it's First Friday in my neighborhood (and its degenerated over the years from an arts walk to basically a flea market/teenage drunk fest) so we'll have our share careening through the 'hood. The good news is that there will be a lot of police out tonight.
