    Well, you could always give MIL K. a true heart attack and contact the military. Psych is desperately needed right now and they're always looking for residents. Of course, you'll be owned by Uncle Sam for a period of time but there are worse fates that having 100% medical coverage and your education paid for...

      That's funny because we were corresponding with one program that said -- "yeah, but you'd have to join the navy." I was surprised (and relieved ) that DrK said no thank you because there was a time - probably in high school - that he harbored the fantasy of becoming a navy seal.
