                Re: Post your board problems

Not a problem. Just a question about how the new boards work. On the old boards, unread topics were in bold or a different color or something (I'm sleep-deprived today. Can't remember.) So, what do the stars, bold stars, flashing stars, stars with dots, etc mean on this board?

                  Re: Post your board problems

I think the flashing stars come with the retro style template. If you go in to your profile, you can select what "style" message board you'd like. It's a drop down menu. I've switched to "proglass" because some of the quirks on the new board seem to be attached to the "retro" style. I'm not sure why -- but the flashing stars are part of that. If you'd like to try out a different style, it is easy to switch the look back and forth. It is just a single setting in the profile.

I think Kris may have uploaded more styles. She changes the default board look from time to time. It is set on retro for now.

I think the dot means you have posted in the thread, and the flashing star means it's a popular thread (though how that's determined, I don't know).

My new message alert says that I have one new message but I don't. Any way to fix that? Not a big deal, just annoying.

Maybe you need to re-enter the link or change some cached page? I know Kris accesses from her iPhone all the time - including recently.

Michele, me too right now. I think it has to do with the security certificate expiring. We're still working on website changes and then we have to move to a new server...oh yuck...hopefully that will fix it?
