                  Those exist, but he'd need outside funding for one of those slots I think.

                  If he's deadset on being in radiology this does give him a year to apply to a TON of programs for the next match (anything and everything in other words). Otherwise, he might think about going into another specialty if he must stay in the Boston area. Surgery does feed into everything else, so that's a good thing for his prelim year.
