I've been sucked in...hook, line, and sinker

    #1 Obsessed with music
#2 Obsessed with covers of popular music (don't knock it...everyone has a flaw!)
#3 Obsessed with high school dramas - I'm witness them everyday, yet they don't get old

I really enjoyed the covers this week, especially of "Acafellas." I'm such a dork, I squealed when they performed at the PTA mtg -- "YES!!! GREAT!"
      *sigh*

      On a better note:

"Raise your armpits. Smell that ladies? That's the scent of failure, and it's stinking up my office."
"Your tanning privileges have been revoked for the rest of the year."

I watched the first episode on Hulu. I'm hooked in enough to watch the next episode.

Covers of popular music are an obsession for me as well. I'm thinking -- I need that Journey song on my iPod!

Resurrecting this thread because I just started watching this week (I have class on Wednesday nights... this past Wednesday I hung out with a friend immediately after, though, and he turned me onto it).

Hilarious. I'm hesitant b/c I also liked Popular at first, and then it went downhill quickly. However, I'm hopeful. Plus I love Matthew Morrison. Seriously. the one and only fan letter I have ever sent was to him after The Light in the Piazza at Lincoln Center. Pathetic, I know, but he's just that. good.

Bwahahaha this an attempt to get a rise out of Cassy.
              1) Yes! Haha. My friend joked about how it's [my Indiana hometown]. I can so relate. I was even one of the choir stars. (Went to show choir camp one summer, yep.)
              2) Pinkpickles, are you a Hoosier??

I saw him in South Pacific. He was great in that too.

Oh, I can imagine! I heard it was a phenomenal production. But the character Fabrizio is just so adorable. And I dare say Adam Guettel is a better composer than his grandpa (though I doubt he'll ever make the same kind of mark on history).

...But, point of story, I will fully support any endeavor that allows me to watch Matthew Morrison sing and dance.

I have not been able to get The Single Ladies dance out of my mind. I'm really enjoying how they are filling out the ensemble on this one.

I am so hooked on this show. I tried to watch it without DH, but I kept laughing so hard that he finally emerged from his studying (with clinical anatomy book in hand) to watch it with me. I loved the scene on the football field...I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. And when that episode was over, DH was still chuckling and muttering "Nice Star Wars sheets...hahaha"
I'm glad they've decided to give this show a season, it is refreshing and different.

Yep! I LOL in the first episode when they used Carmel HS,as the cream of the crop to beat! It was an obvious homage to an Indy area school, even though it is set in OH.

No, there is a Mount Carmel, OH, too.

Ditto - love her! The show almost lost me at boy band - she was all it took to bring me back.

Kristen Chenoweth has a HUGE voice in such a teeny-tiny person.

I LOVE Glee. Kurt makes me so happy.
