I went for a 40 minute walk today after the baby took a 2 hour and 45 minute nap today. (This, admitedly, was to walk off a few of the calories from the cookies I baked today.)

Ok, I've been looking all day for my good thing to post. I had a really super-lousy day, but the good thing is that my DH realized I had a tough day and was incredibly patient, kind, and supportive.

I stood up to my dad in a way that was far more respectful than he deserved, and he finally gave me an ACTUAL apology (the first one was one of those non-apology-apologies).

Selu - I'm sorry your day sucked.

Well tomorrow night (after driving 4 hours to my parents) I will get to see my precious frenchy nephew whom I haven't seen in 3 months who now is talking up a storm (both french and english) so I cannot wait to see and hear him babble!

Also get to see two best friends from college (and their hubbies); my parents and perhaps DH for a bit if he takes/gets Sunday off (he hasn't taken a single day off in nearly three weeks!).

I couldn't post yesterday. Too grumpy.

              But today:
              1. Hooping in the autumn sun
              2. Making tomato sauce and pesto with all the CSA veggies
              3. Brownies!

Bonus round: sleeping kiddo didn't wake when the UPS man rang the doorbell.

                Same with me!

However, this morning, I convinced DH that we shouldn't wake up at 4:45am to workout, but we should go for a bike ride this afternoon instead. Yay for extra sleep!

Yesterday was... well uneventful, so I'm posting today. I started a new part time job this week and was mentioned in the weekly newsletter today giving me props for coming in on my day off due to another workers illness and being a fantastic hire. It felt good.

Today, my dishwasher decided to conk out (yes, that is bad, I know). BUT I called the repair man and he came right over and it was up an running in 2 hours! The turnaround was amazing.

                      LOL! Me too!

                      Today
-I had ice cream from Scoops. I get pretty excited about going there because they have delicious dairy free flavors so I don't have to have some lame sorbet like when we go to Baskin Robbins.
-Took DS for train ride and he was so excited and yelling "choochoo" the whole time.

I'm developing a hula-hooping habit. With Kids at school and youngest sleeping, I can go hula hoop on the deck and listen to my iPod. It was a little slice of heaven. Woo!

                                1. I found our copy of the marriage license. This means that I can actually get my ID updated, my car pinks updated, the correct info on our bank account... etc etc etc.
I so thought we'd lost it (and I'm a very anal person when it comes to paper trails).

                                Hoorah!

                                2. AND, on top of that, the "marine layer" came inland this a.m., which directly assisted me with my "it-will-be-fall-in-L.A, hopefully" denial.
