I don't know what I'm doing yet. There is an OU home game on Halloween, so we are thinking of going as Zombie fans.

    I am impressed!!!
I'm assuming you are impressed at the Edward Cullen costume, not the zombies DF can be really reserved, but when it comes to Halloween, he lets me have fun as long as he can show off his "cycling legs"--two years ago we cross dressed and he wore a short skirt and leggings...I may need to post a picture, it was epic

Hey! It looks like we have a Bella on here to match!

Yep - I was impressed he would go as Edward Cullen. I suggested it to DH when I read that and he flat out refused me. *sigh* Although he seemed really impressed that your DF was going all out with the body glitter!

I think going as zombies would just be fun...the makeup and costumes are easy and fun to do. Either way, I think you'll have a great time. (Jealous, my DH is not as open-minded with costumes...hmmph)

I'll freezer-paper stencil it on my own cheaper maternity t-shirt.

Last time I was hugely pregnant at Halloween (how does this keep happening? ) I made one with a jack-o-lantern face over the belly on an orange tee, but it didn't come out as well as I hoped--looked more like the "Hey Koo-Aid!" guy.
Along the same lines, I was thinking of getting a t-shirt with a floating alien over the belly and going as an alien incubator.

Did you see this one from that same site? I think it's cute.

I love it!!! My 12-year old sister goes around talking about how "hotmazing" Edward Cullen is (with her little lisp it is so cute). I will have to tell her about your idea. What it yours or DF's? Y'all are so clever!

Normally I go as an urban mom (complete with beverage) with a star wars character. There was a whole group of us who went together. Now, we live out in the country and trick or treating is in the afternoon.

C is thinking of going as a lego. BHG and had something in their last magazine about it. Big box with smaller round boxes glued on and the whole shebang spray painted.

Strange as it may sound, I'm celebrating my first Halloween EVER! I never did this as a kid, but now that I have a little one of my own, and DH wants to celebrate it, we're going to go to a harvest festival at our church. It should be really cute to see her with all of her under-one-year-old friends. She's going as a turkey (not the weird cooked turkey from the internet but the cute one from Babies R Us).

Looks like DrK and I are missing our third Halloween in a row. And I LOVE Halloween.

Last year we were driving from FL to OH on Halloween and missed our neighbors' crazy haunted house (poky, you and your DH should stop on over there. You'll love it). The year before that, I was home and he was driving up to the State Prison Hospital for a rotation. (Yeah, that was a good one. Arrive at the prison in BFE past midnight on Halloween. Then the guard tells him to leave his trailer unlocked because his roommate was expected later that night. I was wondering whether that was just a prank they pull on the new guy.)

This year, he'll be on call and I'll be in FL. Poor Moxie will be in the kennel because DrK can't be home to feed her.

Next year. When we've got Baby K. No excuses.

l'll be the, ummm, crunchy mama accompanied by Piglet from Winnie the Pooh at our mom and toddler Halloween picnic!

There is also a kids Halloween party in our neighborhood (most definitely not as cool as Jenn's neighborhood).

I'll be going as a super-cool mom , with Spiderman and a skeleton.

DS#1 has a costume parade at preschool Friday morning, Friday afternoon I'll take Spiderman and the skeleton to trick-or-treat at the downtown businesses, Friday night we'll head to the ILs to carve pumpkins, and then Saturday we'll go trick-or-treating around our neighborhood.

Whew!! When did Halloween get to be such a busy social holiday??!
