Ah! The cookie exchange. That was a lot of fun. I had to take last year off because of little E. We now create our Christmas cards using our mac. E is of course the theme of the photo. Last year it was dual religion themed card (me being Catholic and DH being Jewish). It was such a big hit, we had to order extras after some family members wanted us to send them out to others. We are now working on this years theme...maybe NYC vs. Boston. I am from NYC and DH is from Boston.

This year with being part of a store, I get to indulge myself by decorating and setting out the seasonal items at the end of October. Definitely helps settle the urge to decorate the house right after Halloween.

I have to admit, early in the morning when no one is home I stream christmas music on pandora....this started in August

It's official. I bought my first Christmas present online this past weekend, so now the holiday season has officially begun.

I love love love decorating for Xmas!! I want to have the house decorated with lights, but I am not sure how much it cost. And I can only imagine what reaction I would get if I asked DH.

I was with DF last night in Target oogling over the Christmas section (they have a little bit out there) and he told me,

"You know, you'd really have to hold the crazy in if you had to start dating again. I don't think other guys would understand this obessesion with decorative items"
