If you have room to store it and aren't horrified by fake trees, our $25 pre-lit K-Mart tree is going on its third year...

As long as it does not look like this:

I actually would never, ever get a real tree! First - real trees are a PITA! The watering, the needles, the sap, the falling over and tying to the couch and bolting to the wall, the disposal (can you tell I've had bad experiences with real trees?)

Second: our beautiful little Lexi-dog believes that live plants=outside, and outside=peeing...so, yea, no live trees for us! I'll have to check out K-mart/Wal-mart...

I actually have two. I just love this breed, they are one of the most loving, gentle breeds I have ever had. And they were great for apartment life.

Lovely! I have vowed to not do anything until the day after Turkey Day - but it's proving to be really hard This is the first year that we have room for a tree - but that means we need to buy one
