The TNMNT is AWESOME! And the Chicken and Dinosaur are quite awesome too. I wish I had been able to be in a place I could hand out candy. I am going to have to find a volunteer place next year. I wonder how I do that...

Here are 4 of the 5 cuties. DS felt too yucky to even put his costume on. Lots of fun was had by the trick or treaters and dh brought home a bucket full of candy for DS so they all still got to sort their candy together (which is the best part of the evening ).

Oh, everyone (dogs included) looked very cute. Thanks for sharing!

We had a fair number of trick-or-treaters. Mostly very young kids, so that was fun. Surprisingly my dogs behaved themselves and only barked the first couple times the doorbell rang.

Thanks for sharing the pictures - I love seeing cosumes!

Tara - your poor DS having the flu is bad enough, I cannot imagine how stinky that must be to have it on halloween - poor thing!

Cora the Bumble Bee. The stinger would waggle when she walked, melting hearts everywhere.

Per recent tradition, we went over to my parents' house--they have all their kids and grandkids over for a chili dinner and trick-or-treating. I didn't think Cora would do trick-or-treating, but she was into it!

These pictures of cute kiddos are giving me baby fever! You guys have some cute kids (and puppies!)

Here is DH and I - they are obviously homemade costumes - I cannot bear (or afford) to pay for a costume that can only be worn one day!
We literally made these yesterday afternoon - thank goodness DH was such a good sport!

Thank you, but to be honest - I did looked at pictures from website that was having a contest - so that is where I got the idea from... I wish I could say I thought of it myself!

You still got out the supplies and made it. That's points in my book!

omg, the kids, babies and puppies are so cute!! There's nothing cuter than kids and pets in costumes. All of you ladies look lovely as well.

DH is home this weekend, so I went to the parade with friends. We got front-row spots (it's a rather adult parade, so we weren't blocking children).

We had an Important Women Throughout History theme, so I was Amelia Earhart, and am pictured here with Marie Curie and Susan B. Anthony. The picture is too close to see my friends' best accessories (tubes of "radium" and a lab rat for Madame Curie, and a copy of "The Revolution" for Susan B. Anthony). My best accessory was a Distinguished Flying Cross (I know the ribbon isn't exactly correct, for those of you who know about those sorts of things!):

Back in the Midwest with my PGY-2 ortho DH and putting my fashion degree to good use.

DF going as Edward went well! I went as a Twilight fangirl (the goth look was only added because I find that sort of thing fun since it is quite the opposite of my normal look)

He actually pranced around all night taking pics with college girls who just had to have a pic with Edward...so not normal behavior for him! He is normally really shy--but he actually thanked me at the end of the night for helping him do a fun costume

And of course we couldn't resist...

Married to a newly minted Pediatric Rad, momma to a sweet girl and a bunch of (mostly) cute boy monsters.

It was too cold for Sophie to be out trick or treating, but Caleb had a blast with his cousins.
