As mine is a pathologist who read slides of biopsied lungs and SMOKES. Sometimes they can't get out of their own way.

I'm glad he's safe. Remind him that if he gets in an accident & survives, the pain will be the least of his worries when the iMSN bus arrives.

Sometimes docs are just the worst! My doctor father smoked and ate very unhealthy food until the end. And never went to the doctor himself until he got very sick.

I fear the IMSN bus... And I'm a part of this site!
I can't imagine who would come out of it first, but I'm pretty sure it would be newsworthy.

Oh yeah, when he decided that he HAD to have a motorcycle because otherwise he'd have to take the buses back and forth from the Army base to the Army hospital (and in his defense, as often as he's running between the two hospitals, it would be a total PITA) I told him we were not financing his mid-life crisis and to figure out how he wanted to pay for it.

So, he added four more years to the commitment (so now we're back up to owing I think seven or eight more years) because the bonuses were huge.

Last year's bonus he used a portion of to buy the motorcycle and all of the gear. He's worse than any girl I know when it comes to accessories, only his are for the motorcycle and the bicycle.

I actually don't care about adding more time to the military, he's salaried and protected from a lot of the insanity that you all in the civilian world must deal with.

I give it another two years or so before his back prevents him from riding very often. He messed himself up jumping out of airplanes when he was enlisted.

and riding in DC is scarier than riding in TX so I don't see that happening very often, either.
