Iam also thankful to Biga on the Banks, my verymost favorite restaurant in San Antonio for a fabulous Thanksgiving meal (we did the anti Thanksgiving- I had lamb shank and my husband had prime rib and the dude had what looked like an amazing French Toast. [he ate every bite and did. not. share.]

I figured if I'm not at my mother's eating her fabulous stuff then I wasn't going to bother with a poor second. No Texan is going to make stuffing like my mother. (there's not a crumb of corn bread near our Thanksgiving meal!)

Hope you and yours had a peaceful and relaxing day with people you love. and if you were with your in-laws, my sympathies and I hope they're all passed out from the tryptophan.

I too am thankful for this site and for everyone on it! The ones I have known for years have been there for me through moves, babies, etc., and the newer members give me a needed sense of perspective and appreciation for what DH and I have endured over the years. I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving, however you are celebrating. It is so nice to have this place to come back to time and time again, where everyone gets this lifestyle and there is no need to go through all of the explaining. I am saner because of this place, although I don't claim to be completely sane!
