I am getting my dad something like this. I swear that the best way to shop for that man is to pick out something from those weird catalogs that only old ladies order from. He love that type of stuff.

Well. . . I'm being small. After MIL's last confrontation, I went out and bought 4 shirts for DrK, NOT from Tommy Bahama. I'll dress my husband, thankyouverymuch. It was like a compultion. I couldn't help myself.Wife and #1 Fan of Attending Adult & Geriatric Psychiatrist.

MrsK - Every time I read about the Tommy Bahama shirts, I think of a guy that DH works with who is newly divorced and always dating nurses 10-20 years his junior. Your MIL gives mine a run for her money!-Deb
Wife to EP, just trying to keep up with my FOUR busy kids!

We had the best Father's Day ever!
The baby woke up around 5:30. When DH is home, he handles the evening diaper changes and brings the baby to our bed to nurse. While DH was changing him, I smuggled all his gifts into the bed. The baby and I planned it that way. "You distract daddy and I'll take care of the gifts." Then I nursed while DH opened all his presents -- cards from our moms, from the baby, and the dog, shirts and pants from us, and the cutest coffee mug that the baby "made" in day care. It was decorated with fish made from the baby's fingerprints and said something like "Hooked on You, Daddy!" It was filled with gummy worms. DH treated us to a fashion show while we nursed. Then the baby went back to sleep so we got to sleep in!!!
The rest of the day was business as usual. Then we went out on our first post-baby date night! We hired a sitter and went out for a really delicious grown-up dinner. It was the best father's day gift because DH has been so neglected since the baby came. The baby was asleep when we got home and didn't wake until 6AM this morning. So, no evening wake up/diaper change. Woohoo!Wife and #1 Fan of Attending Adult & Geriatric Psychiatrist.
