I've always just used Photobucket and copied the URL, then clicked the Insert Image button and pasted it. It's kind of a hassle, since that's all I use Photobucket for. (I use Snapfish for all of my pictures, but I couldn't figure out how to link those.)

Hopefully Poky will see this and teach us all the ways- she was able to upload the pictures of my dogs from my facebook page.

I have learned so much from her tech posts! I'm also hoping she can add something. I was thinking she was offline tonight or I was beyond help! LOL!

BTW... you now about landscaping stuff, right? Go look at my pitiful lawn pics and let me know where to even start.

BUT what do I click on next????? I’ve tried clicking on ‘Inserting Attachment’ ‘Insert Inline’ and ‘Home’ (on the left). Nothing seems to put the pic in the Home window or the Attachment window. Help….
If the picture uploads properly, a thumbnail of it SHOULD show up in the "attachments" area at the bottom of the window. When you upload, does the smaller "select files" window disappear after the blue bar goes across, or does it stay up?

Next thing to check is to click on "settings' in the upper right of the main window (above the header picture); along the left, under "my settings" is a 'forum' section; in there is an "attachments" link. There's a bar across the top that says if your attachment allocation is full or not - it'll be all red if it is; if it is, that might be it (though you'd think it'd TELL you that's what the problem is). You can delete pictures from that page.

I wonder if any of the admins know if we have enough disk space available to up the limit on attachment space per user or not...

I am not sure what I am doing wrong either... I cannot upload files from my PC, running Windows7. I click on manage attachements, then add files. I don't have a way to browse my computer to upload a file, I have to upload to a website first. Any suggestions?

I thought of that but wasn't really sure what that Red bar was for! Thank you!!! I have the red bar. I'm full! LOL! haha! I had tried deleting 2-3 pics to see if that would do anything but it didn't seem to effect my ability to upload. I guess I didn't delete enough. I'm working on that right now!

The line where it says "upload files from your computer | website" Only website is a link where I can do anything. I cannot click on computer.

Yeah I have the same problem, but I think it's not because of my MAC, but because my photos are too big. I would, for now, recommend what the others have said, which is to use a photo sharing site. I'll play around with mine to see if I can find any solution too!

Okay, so yes, it's the file size< for me. I tried to load a much small photo, and was able to to do by " Add new File" and "select file" and then selecting the photo that I wanted. It then uploaded and I was able to easily put it on the site. Not if this is what everyone else is experiencing, but for me that is how I worked around it. Meaning I will have to resize my very large photos to upload them to the site.

i also think this was my issue. my files were too big. I tried to make them smaller... but if I'm going to go through all that trouble I can just add them to photobucket just as "easy."

Thank you for helping me and big thanks to Poky. Your the best!
