I LOVE Christmas time!! It's so magical. I have so many great memories of time spent with family during the holidays. Good times, good food. My cousins and I making up and performing skits and writing our own family newspaper that we would sell for some chump change so that we could get some ice cream or something. The smells, the laughter, the warmness.

Ever since we moved away from home it has been bittersweet since I don't get to spend them with extended family. I must still get excited because the kids love decorating the house for the holidays. We drink hot chocolate, eat popcorn, listen to music, and dance around the house. I'm a little bummed because since we're going to CA for Christmas we won't be getting a tree. I have to figure out what we're going to do for decorations. We usually don't decorate until at least Dec 20 since that is DD's bday and we want it to be her bday, not Xmas. We'll be at Disneyland, so maybe we'll put some decorations out after Thanksgiving.
