Being able to swim still, having green leaves on the trees, not owning a snow shovel, gloves, or a scarf. Watching weather reports for the majority of the country in blizzards while you walk around in shorts.

I'm a complete summer child so I always feel compelled to get out every single day for as long as possible whenever the weather is even marginal. Minnesota completely cemented this craziness in me that if there is sunshine, you must be outside no matter what.
Honestly, I exhaust myself with the parks, swimming, running, etcetera. It is nice to just hang out inside for a change and not feel like I have to go, go, go! I enjoy the peace, solitude, and less expectations. In my dreams I run with the Kenyans.

I'm with Heidi and Michele. I detest being cold & require sunshine to be happy. That being said, I am enjoying hot chocolate and love all the yummy peppermint stuff I picked up at Trader Joe's this weekend. Has anyone else tried the peppermint pretzel thins yet?Charlene~Married to an attending Ophtho Mudphud and Mom to 2 daughters
