The winter Sophie was born was the second snowiest on record there, so that is how I remember too.

Pfft, I'm already over the snow and we're just getting started. Our area averages 80-ish inches per winter (thank you lake effect), and I'm just not in the mood for it this year. DD1 has a zero hour jazz band class so I'm driving in this crap long before the plows make it to our area.
Don't mind me. I'm sure my attitude will change after a couple weeks of not having to get up at the butt crack of dawn to get the teen to school.

Holy cow Deb! We got a decent amount on the westside, enough to make me hibernate(which in reality doesn't take much ). I couldn't imagine not being able to open our door! DD was supposed to go to her Dad's this weekend in the mountains & I put the kabosh on that since I don't want them driving in that.
Pretty pics though!Charlene~Married to an attending Ophtho Mudphud and Mom to 2 daughters

I have to admit that I am NOT missing the snow one bit. Granted, it isn't the best weather here right now -- it's very rainy and gloomy, but the high's are still in the low 60's. I'll take it over a midwestern winter, no question.Wife to a urologist; Mom to 2 wonderful kiddos
