Not sure if you heard, but it was announced this week that Verizon iPhones will be available next month.

I don't think I'll get one - if DH wants us to change carriers so that he can get one that is fine with me but I think I'll go with a droid or something like that. I don't need an iphone though I'm sure it would be easier since everything else we have is apple.

I initially wanted to switch. Now I think I'm gonna wait it out w AT&T and see how it plays out. I think Verizon is going to start to have some of the same issues AT&T has. And I wanna see if there is going to be an iPhone 5 or whatever before I make any decisions.

Even with a few glitches, I heart my iphone. Bury me with it.

Yep, this is me, too. I have noticed that the iPhone 4 is pretty glitchy, but I'm addicted. I'll put up with its crankiness.

I had made a really good response a few hours ago, but some lag in my browser caused an error and it was gone. Too much to resay again lol. I love my Iphone and I love apple!

I love my iPhone. And having had the same cell phone account (through 3 different carrier names), I love AT&T too. Yes, same cell phone number since 1997. Started with Southwestern Bell, then became Cingular, then AT&T. LOL

Yes, we don't have AT&T issues. We were cingulair before too- just 2 phones ago...

Dh always says that the iPhone is a great device, but a crappy phone. As to verizon vs AT&T, I'll tell you that over the course of our many, many road trips, dh is always the one to lose service first. I've got verizon, and I can consistently make calls. Dh has a sprint air card and we usually keep service pretty consistently, my iPad and dh's iPhone have the most problems with connectivity by far.

That is one thing DH will have to consider before we switch - we didn't go with AT&T to start with here because their coverage SUCKS! But that may be different in Portland.

I love my iPhone, but I have to admit that it has crappy reception. T-Mobile is by far not the best in terms of coverage, but Andrew and I were riding in the same car and he had 3 bars on his ancient Treo while I had none on my iPhone. I still love it.

Hahahaha, nope. Coverage still sucks here. Well, it depends on where you're going to live. If you're going to end up in the area you told me about, it's not that great. Sorry Cheri! But you'll still be able to text me to set up coffee dates.

I think that is probably why we'll stick with Verizon if we switch!

DH's phone won't turn on, as of yesterday -- he updated it, and now nothing. Although I suspect it's due to the NUMEROUS times he has dropped the thing, more than anything else.
