I think another issue with the Verizon iPhone is you can't get any data while talking. I rarely need to do this but sometimes I will look at my email or google maps during a conversation.

My phone has officially died. I have owned it a little less than two years. The first year I had no problems at all and this year I have had one glitch slowly crop off after the next. Today? I can't seem to get my phone to turn on.

sigh. What a bummer. No...more than a bummer. I have been waaaaay too dependent on my phone! lol

Have you connected it to iTunes lately? Sometimes when my phone appears "dead", all it needs is a little iTunes lovin' and rebooting.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I think I'd cry if my iPhone died. Are you planning on another or going for a different phone?
