cracking an ice cold beer out on the deck seems suddenly perfectly acceptable even amongst the most uptight of neighbors
spending the entire day boating or lounging by the pool is not a waste of productive time (damn yankee work ethic)
fresh produce appeals to me more than baked goods for a few short months

Least favorite season, but still lots to love.
Barbeques, having two months off of work, family vacations, being tan and wearing flip flops, buying a new bathing suit, watersports, fireworks, Christmas in July (DH and I both have July bdays)...Comment

Not a huge fan of summer either but I do love farmers' markets and not being stuck inside for days because DH took our only SUV to work.Comment
