omg... this thread is hilarious... we are all apparently married to the same man...
1) rice cooker beeps.. DH screams from bathroom.. is that MY PAGER?
2) half asleep.. one eye open.. DH said to me.. did you check on patient A's CT scan? I told you to do that an hour ago. Why didn't you get back to me yet?
3) dream talk always consist of some medical terms
4) you know more about his schedule then he does. If someone is having a b'day party, he would call me and ask 'what am i doing that day'. And i can answer right away.
5) you got his month and annual schedule pinned on your fridge
6) papers all strewn in the house and you cannot clean it or throw it away because of HIPPA violation
7) all appointments will me made by me. That phrase 'we will handle it" YES means 'wifey will handle it'
8) you have to stuff money into his wallet or else he will be going around with 2 bucks forever
9) yes... our camera has icky pictures too... i was showing a friend pictures at new york.. flip flip.. suddenly there is a intubated kid with swollen brain ... not a pretty sight...
10) the man has NO IDEA how much we spend on gas, groceries, how much left in the bank, bills, insurance and all the due dates.
11) sometimes when i am frustrated, i will say out loud: ' dude, what else you know besides medicine?' please tell me.. i want to know.Match Day was the happiest day of my life... followed by my wedding day...

The maintence guy keep insisting that i am an international student who moved here alone.Match Day was the happiest day of my life... followed by my wedding day...

I had a dream last night that I just remembered here in the middle of the day. Isn't that strange when that happens? Anyways, I dreamed that we were in the match (or maybe it was a fellowship match?) and on match day we found out we were moving to Germany! I've never even been to Germany!! WTH?!!?!Wife to PGY5. When your kid's coach asked in a round about way if you and DH are still married because he's never around. I've told the guy like three times that DH is an OBGYN and is either always working or asleep from always working. Yes,even on a Saturday.

You ask your DH to inform you of his call /moonlighting schedule, exams, and deadlines so you won't think he's dead or having an affair when he disappears for days at a time.Wife and #1 Fan of Attending Adult & Geriatric Psychiatrist.

You do everything, all the time, and people don't understand why your husband doesn't help out more.
It's just the way it is.

Upon hearing that he's 4 months overdue on his TB test, you have to give him detailed instructions on where and how to get it done. Five times.
You know the number to the lost and found at the hospital, and had had to call it to claim: an iPad, North Face fleece, several textbooks, and a stethoscope. All since January.I'm just trying to make it out alive!

Your neighbor asks if your DH is at work, and you don't know! You tell her yes because it's the most likely answer, only to discover that he went into work for a meeting, not a shift, and is sitting at the kitchen table when you get home.-Deb

You've moved all your stuff from old apartment to the new apartment pretty much by yourself and when the maintenance guy passes you and DH about 9pm on a Thursday night carrying a large rug, he tells your DH how lucky he is and should be very thankful to have you since he has seen you move basically the whole apartment by yourself.
oh and your DH forgets that he booked a moonlighting job for the weekend of the big move, so you have to get everything big done Friday so you can finish putting everything in its place alone on Saturday while he moonlights for 24 hours. (Even research year they manage to disappear when its moving time!)-L.Jane
