Ah, the sweet hum of restored power!!

Our state is completely devastated. Roads, houses, bridges--covered wooden and metal, gone. There's no way to get in or out of town.
We're safe and sound, but our neighbors have lost so much.

Glad to here that people on here made it through for the most part and power is being restored.

My family back east also faired well and they said they weren't affected by the power outages. They did have wind and rain.

Checking in from RI.... We are ok - some damage to our fence, but very minor. Lots of trees down and homes wrecked but no deaths, thank goodness. We have power back here, but some parts of the state will be without power for a while, possibly until next weekend. Schools closed, but hopefully will re-open tomorrow. Counting our blessings today.

Just got power back late this afternoon. It was a blissful three days without television.
