I would love to know YOUR perspective since you have been exposed to totally different media than we have over here......

I have not been following the case at all. As far as I can tell there has been critisism of the media for their vilification of Knox's character at the first trial, but I don't think there's a clear consensus on guilty/not guilty.

I love the Daily Mail. It's so entertaining. Total trash, but entertaining. It's my guilty pleasure.

Damn I missed watching it live - if anyone has a link of the video, can you post here?

You're right, it's for wrongfully pointing the finger at the local bartender Labumba.

            Thanks.

I saw something today where Nancy Grace commented saying she thought she was there and part of the murder. I'm really curious why she thinks that. I guess I have more reading to do.

I also read the Kercher family stood to make money by having the two confirmed guilty--anyone know if that was true? Either way, she's out, but she still has hell to go through and the other girl is still dead.

I have no idea, but NG makes me crazy when she says things like that.

NG is an idiot who says stupid, unsubstantiated bullshit in search of ratings. I loathe her.

I'm watching it too. I was just telling DrK that the theory of the case is so complicated.

Can you believe it? The Italian court has ordered a retrial.

I am tired of people saying that the US will decline an extradition request under the double jeopardy exception to our bilateral extradition treaty. I am not sure that is correct. My understanding is that her lower court verdicts/judgments were vacated and annulled. If that's the case, DJ would not apply under US law. I'd like to hear from an Italian law expert.

That's what I've read and heard from various news sources, too.

I just cannot believe this whole thing isn't over. I mean, the prosecution's theory of the case is so bizaare. Horses people!
