Some sort of pork fajitas meal that DH saw made on TV. Some med school friends are coming over one last time before they move for residency. Can I brag on my husband? He got up early this morning and prepped all the meat and marine, put in little containers in the frig for me, then emailed me instructions on how to get it started this afternoon. We were short on meat, he even ran out to the store this morning to get more meat! I think he has guacamole and fresh salsa on the menu when he gets home.

I get off work at 5 and have class from 5:30-8. And my brother's borrowing my car, so I might have to take the bus home. I'm not sure I'm even eating dinner tonight.

I wonder if pasta can be mailed. Prob not in summer. Once you make homemade pasta it is hard to go back to store-bought. Super easy, 1 cup flour to 1 egg, to 1 tspn truffle oil & 1tspn truffle salt ratio. Add 2 Tblspns water per 1 cup of flour, etc.
Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

Can be mailed if it's dried first...but I think that takes away some of the flavor. I agree though, homemade pasta is way better!

My brother is single and he makes pasta. We score big time because he doesn't have a family to feed. So good, you're right!

Taco Tuesday here too! I made a chicken taco bake (box) yesterday to bake today. And K and P get quesadillas. Though K didn't eat them tonight. 3/4 ate. I'm ok with that ratio!

ETA: Kai ate some! Woo hoo! Taco Tuesday success!!!

tonight is hotdogs. Blech. It's our end of year school fair and BBQ. boiled hotdogs, bag of chips, juice box. I'll take it though, if it means that I don't have to cook (even though I love to cook).

I think we're doing leftovers. We have a little soup from last night and some roasted pork from Sunday. I think we still have some green beans and potatoes, too. DH isn't crazy about leftover night, but I can't stand wasting food!
