Ugh. BIL's wife is queen of stupid FB crap. Please don't tell everyone you might get foreclosed on or that your husband is an asshole for not helping you paint. They've actually had fights ON freakin FB.

I can't tell you how glad I am other people's husbands do this. It drives me out of my mind. This and putting his plate on the kitchen counter. Dude. The dishwasher is literally right there. And then get all pissy when I call him back into the kitchen and ask him to put his dishes away. If you'd just put it where it was supposed to go the first time...

People who "wish you'd just speak English! I can't understand you at all!"

When someone refers to another person as "an illegal."

Random trash, left on counters. Food containment, saleen solution, caps to empty bottles. Why?

          Expresso.

Just yesterday I came into my office in the morning to find a pair of boxers on the couch. Apparently DH left them there after he took a shower (office is right next to bathroom) and went into the office to turn on his computer. That one actually kinda cracked me up because it was so weird.

Other than that, I'm on the grammar train too. Especially the bizarre western PA thing where people say that "the car needs washed" or "the plant needs watered". And they have no idea how wrong it sounds to someone not from here.

The thing that absolutely bugs me the most though is leaving the dishrag in the sink. The water never drains out of it, it gets all mildew-smelling, and I can just picture the germs all over it -- and I'm not usually a germophobe! I have to immediately get a clean one if DH leaves it in the sink. Makes me shudder to think about it.

OK, this is cracking me up because I've got a thousand things that tick me off, from petty to more aggriegious offenses

people who assume that because I'm a white, heterosexual mainstream Christian it is o.k. to make racist, sexist, homophobic jokes or send me ultraconservative email propoganda.
people who use their religion as a shield to hate
              Mompetitions and mommy drive-bys
              rudeness
              mean people
              condescension
walkers and slower runners who insist on walking 5 abreast who clog up a race course. (Did you not see the pace signs when you were sitting in the chute for twenty minutes?)
              Facebook, in general.
              irresponsibility in kids, especially mine
cell phone rudeness (at a minimum one should say, "Excuse me, I have to take this call")
the mainstream media failure to portray news beyond reality stars and Tom Cruise's third divorce.
young girls who dress like streetwalkers (Seriously, parents are buying this stuff!)
              Sassy kid tv programming
              the banking industry
              real estate transactions
              airport security shakedowns
parents who check out when their kids become teens
the failure to teach children foreign languages from a young age

Um, I think I enjoyed this exercise a little too much....LOL
In my dreams I run with the Kenyans.

I totally gave up on being irritated by DH's weird placement of crap. I love that man and he's fabulous, but OMFG his ADD is crazy making. He sets things down when he gets distracted and forgets where he puts them. I once found the TV remote in the freezer. You just can't make this shit up.

Taking things out and not putting them back.

Leaving food trash & silverware out for hours after using them all over the house.

There are more but that's currently what's on my mind.

I was reminded of one my husband's today: people who mix up monkeys and apes! (I saw that comparing monkeys and chimpanzees is on Cora's preschool curriculum for next week--husband will be thrilled.)

                      grammar mistakes
people who correct grammar mistakes or enunciation incorrectly
hubby loading the dishwasher or doing laundry- nothing comes clean when he does it so why bother if I have to do it all again? argh! yes, he is trying to help but sometimes I think he does it to annoy me... ;p
how people talk about being a professional when they are not in a profession
how friends refer to daycare as school and daycare workers as teachers- it just irks me- not knocking what daycare workers do but it is not the same as teaching...
the expressions, "I'm just saying..." and "it is what it is..."

Add, "I'm just keeping it real/honest," and you've got my cringe trifecta. Gah.
