This is all of us in mid-October in Grapevine, Texas, where we were riding a steam train pulled by none other than Thomas the Tank Engine. It was all for Nathan's benefit, since he has been obsessed with Thomas/trains in general since his birthday in September, but as you can see (I hope!) he was a little nervous about actually riding on a train. He thinks they are all "hot" because of the smoke. Luckily I found a lollipop in my purse, so he sucked on that instead of crying. He looked worried the whole time, though.

Thanks, Kelly, that's very sweet of you. Yes, Yellowstone is wonderful. This was actually our 2nd trip. I think it's one of those places that really shows the awesomeness of nature and the kids absolutely love it. There's geysers, waterfalls, bubbling mud pots, bison, elk, deer, fantastically colored pools. It really is incredible. We try to take advantage of being so close to many national parks while in Utah because we know it's a lot harder to go when you're further away.

Sally, this whole time I imagined you as a brunette! That's a great picture!

I'm anxious for everyone else to share their pictures also so we can all put a face to the name!

What great looking families everyone has!
Sally, that picture is really cute, especially with Nathan and the lollipop. He does look a tad bit uncertain about what is going on.

I'm glad you said that, because I've been wrong probably 90% of the time in my blond/brunette guesses! Actually they're not so much guesses as unconscious assumptions, really. (For the record, mine is a a dark brown chin-length bob. )

I thought Julie was a blond! I thought Sally was too though....

I'll have to discuss the picture size thing at some point but I'm on an internal medicine rotation and my schedule just became hellish.

Well, I'm trying....but I can't even upload the photos to the MSN page. It keeps saying "no photos in this folder" but there are photos there, I swear!

With the semi recent influx of new members, I thought I'd revive this thread. I know I promised "how to resize pictures"....but I've since forgotten how!

Bumping this up so others can benefit from Michele's eloquent instructions on how to post pictures.

Personally I've had better luck with shutterfly.com than with the msn groups as a place to store the pics online, though.

I hope this worked - I am just a wee bit behind on the times . I just saw the message and thought I would try it. This is our little family last Christmas in Utah.
